October 6, 2006, Old School Sinema debuted their first feature film, The Horror Convention Massacre. After booking a date for the premiere, the search was on to hire someone for the post-production, and that was me.

Somewhere on the OSS site, there's an NC-17 kind of trailer. As I was working on the movie, I thought it might be nice to have a trailer we could show to the general public, and that's what we've got going on to the left here. It's more of a PG(-13) bit of video.

Of course, it turns out that of the hours of needle drop music I was given for the project, I immediately picked the one track we weren't licensed to use. I don't know who the original author is, but this version is apparently a cover, and it's by the Alligators.

If exploitive slasher movies aren't your cup of wax, then this trailer should really show you everything you need to know about the movie. On the other hand, if you ARE some kind of horror-convention going, Jason Vorhees cosplaying, unprovoked-violence-and-gore-loving freak, then this is just the flick for you, and might I just mention DVDs are on sale at the official OSS store for a scant $15+S&H?

Important Update: HCM DVDs are only available from the OSS store. Rumor is certain unscrupulous actresses have begun selling bootlegs of the film that are not the final release version, and do not come with the in-the-case goodies or proper cover. Support indie film responsibly!
